I’m mid-flight heading to my first MVP Summit and feeling pretty jazzed about the days ahead. It’s hard not to be excited for what’s in store since many of my fellow MVPs talk about this week as the pinnacle of the MVP experience.
In addition to the much-anticipated product sessions Microsoft will be giving, there will be lots of opportunity for networking, meeting up with old friends and forging new friendships. The MVP community has opened up my world in many positive ways and I feel very fortunate for the opportunities it continues to give me.
Another first for me is participating in a debate… on Sunday of Summit week, Darrell Webster from @Regarding365 has invited me along with 7 other Office Server & Services MVPs to participate in a friendly debate on the topic “End users should be able to create their own Office 365 Groups”. There’s a boatload of talent, experience and opinions on both sides of the debate – it will be a good time for sure. Check out Darrell’s blog post where he shares the debate details and team makeup.
If you’ll be at MVP Summit and we’ve never met in-person before (and I don’t see you first), tap me on the shoulder and say Hi. It’ll be great to meet outside of the virtual world.

[Update March 16, 2018] What a week! The debate was a lot of fun, product sessions were amazing and it was so good to geek out with new and old friends for the week. I even had an opportunity to be interviewed by Jeremy Thake of Hyperfish – a highlight of the week for me! Here’s some links:
