My first SharePoint Saturday speaking event!
I’m excited to announce I’ll be speaking at my first SharePoint Saturday event in Edmonton, AB on Oct. 22. This is the second annual SPS event for Edmonton and I’m honoured to be part of it.
I’ll be presenting a session titled “How to Build a Search-driven Website”. It’s a SharePoint practitioner’s guide to leverage search and managed metadata along with cross-site publishing and author-in-place publishing models to build out a site…all with no code! I’ll finish off by talking about the evolution of search and how smart it’s becoming.
I’ll also be participating in an Ignite panel to discuss my takeaways from the recent Microsoft conference in Atlanta.
Registration is FREE and can be done here – SharePoint Saturday Edmonton. If you’re there make sure you stop by and say Hi!
[UPDATE – Oct. 23, 2016] The SharePoint Saturday event was a lot of fun and it was pretty cool to be part of a Microsoft Ignite panel – it was really well-received by the attendees. I had a great time presenting, thanks to everyone that attended my session!
