I’m thrilled to be delivering 2 sessions on my own throughout the week!! Preparations are underway right now and I can’t wait to share them with you!

Details for my sessions are below… check out the full conference agenda.

Session: An end-to-end look at Microsoft Syntex

When: Wednesday, August 23 from 3:30 to 4:40PM

Session presenter: Me 🙂

Synopsis: Microsoft Syntex is a big step forward for Content Services in Microsoft 365 by providing the ability to integrate AI into the flow of work. Unstructured content is being produced at an alarming rate in modern workplaces today and organizations need a way to improve the effectiveness of business processes surrounding it. Microsoft Syntex helps by automatically classifying content, extracting metadata, improving search, enhancing knowledge sharing, and applying appropriate governance controls. Microsoft Syntex is this and so much more!

To demonstrate, Joanne Klein will walk through a live demo of building and training an Unstructured Document Processing Syntex model in SharePoint.

The walkthrough will cover setup, training, deployment, and the “extras” you get with a Microsoft Syntex license.

Session: Scoping your Retention Policies and Labels for Microsoft 365

When: Friday, August 25 from 12:30 to 1:40PM

Session presenters: me 🙂

Synopsis: This session will explain the concept of “scoping” retention policies and labels inside Microsoft Purview and how Static and Adaptive scopes can help your organization intelligently scale to meet your retention requirements. Understanding scoping is key to your overall Data Lifecycle and Records Management strategy, program design and implementation.

To demonstrate the capability, Joanne will walk thru several practical use-cases and will highlight the technology dependencies to be aware of before starting down this path.

I hope to see you in Seattle in August!! If you’re there, don’t be shy… say hi!! 🙂
