My friend David Drever (@DavidMDrever – prairiedeveloper.com) and I are joining forces to present a session on SharePoint search to a couple of User groups in Alberta. We live one province to the east of there so you know what that means… Road Trip!!! One of my favorite things to do. 🙂
It will be a great couple of days and we’ll have covered almost 2000km (1200miles) before the trip is over. I guess that makes us SharePoint road warriors!
The first presentation will be tonite, Wednesday Nov. 23rd at the Edmonton Microsoft User Group (@EMUGca). A quick roadtrip to Calgary tomorrow and we’ll also present at the SharePoint and O365 User group (@CalgarySPOUG)!

I’m excited to meet up with my Western Canadian friends and talk about SharePoint.

[UPDATE Nov. 24, 2016] The Edmonton event was fun – lots of great questions from the attendees. It was clear that everyone wants a better search experience for their end-users so hopefully we gave some great ideas to help get there!

[UPDATE Nov. 25, 2016] The Calgary SharePoint & O365 group had a good turnout and the event was a lot of fun. There was even time to hang out with some SharePoint friends before the event and I enjoyed relaxing after the event at the SharePint. Thanks for having me @CalSPOUG !!
